Tao Kae Noi Chicken Flavor was the companion to Tao Kae Noi Tum Yum I bought from Tao Kae Noi Land. Chicken flavor wouldn’t normally raise much interest from me but to be thorough I grabbed a package. Join me to see how this package of noodles fair.
Contents
This package came with a connected sachet of seasoning powder and a paste. To make it worthy of being a Tao Kae Noi ramen it had a sachet of fried and lightly seasoned seaweed. They were salty and very crispy.
Noodles
The noodles were a little larger than your average Thai noodle brick. The noodle brick wasn’t a large as a Korean noodle brick.
Seasoning
The seasoning powder looked a little boring but my taste generally leans toward more spicy fare.
Paste
The paste was a little surprising as these were supposed to be just chicken flavored. The red color made be think that this would be a little spicy.
Ruling
The noodles were nice and chewy. The seaweed was nice and crispy and the broth was actually pretty nice as far as chicken soup goes. It definitely isn’t spicy but the broth was creamy and it did taste like chicken soup. I’m not a huge fan of flavors like this so I’ll not be getting these again but they weren’t bad. The seaweed is what makes this a Tao Kae Noi ramen as their main product is seaweed snacks. If everything was pretty good in this ramen the seaweed is what really stands out. If you’re a fan of chicken soup or just don’t care for spicy food this is the package instant noodles for you.
I ENJOY RAW MEN JUST AS MUCH : D
So sorry I didn’t get back to you right away. I’ve been busy with life stuff so I haven’t thrown up recent bowls but for sure I’ve been consuming mass quantities of ramen. Thanks for the comment. 😉
