Reviewing the best ramen around the world
Nissin Chili Noodles sound like the perfect noodle for me. First I love a good amount of spiciness. I love new textures to food and these noodles promised chili not just in the seasoning but in the noodles themselves. I’ve had a lot of disappointment from Nissin so the approach to these noodles was cautious like a rabbit nibbling a carrot in a trap. Will the Ramen Ruler get snared?
Continue reading “Nissin Chili Noodles”Tao Kae Noi is a brand that I have been familiar with for quite a while now. They make some simply delicious seaweed snacks. The flavoring and crispiness of their seaweed is top notch. Tourists flock to Tao Kae Noi Land stores while in Thailand to stock up on their favorite snacks. I was surprised to find they make ramen as well. Tao Kae Noi produces two different flavors and in this review I’ll be sampling Tao Kae Noi Creamy Tom Yum Kung.
FF didn’t come out so well on their Tom Kha Gai noodles so I wanted to see if their FF Tom Yum Shrimp was any better. The packaging again says they’re Halal so I would think that this company specializes in Halal products. The wrapper show a very red soup with shrimp, lime, mushrooms and kafir lime leaf.
Strange packaging for this whole series of noodles. Wai Wai Tom Yum Shrimp Flavor Quick Formula noodles definitely grabbed my attention with the cartoon character on the front of the package. This one has what appears to be a pouting girl on the front. Maybe she’s mad because I took her noodles? I don’t really know but let’s get on with the review. The package also shows shrimp, limes, mushrooms, limes leaves, chilies and coriander.
